About The Area
Syros - Escape the overcrowding and tourist traps and head to Syros, with its beautiful beaches, stunning churches, ancient settlements, numerous cultural events and steeped in history Syros offers plenty to see and do whilst giving you peaceful surroundings and quiet beaches.
Posidonia - Located in the southwest of Syros this small seaside town was originally called Della Grazia. Known as The Aristocratic Town, due to the many wealthy visitors to the area, luxury villas and chapels sit within pine and palm tree gardens. There are lots of great walking routes on the island and the nearby sandy Voulgari Beach is perfect for lazing on the sandy shores and enjoying the sunshine.
Try windsurfing or body boarding at Voulgari Beach, just 10 minutes walk from your villa or play a game of tennis in the local courts.
Take advantage of the free bicycles on offer and take a ride through the countryside
Go trekking amongst the pine trees and hillsides
Have a cultural day out and visit Emoupolis for a pretty hillside town with it’s maze of stairways surrounded by marbled streets and hilltop churches.
Visit in June for the Trimore Syros Triathlon, a 4 day event great for spectators and competitors
Check out the International Festival of the Aegean in July for music, dancing and drama

Reviews
"When we booked our holiday villa in Syros, we chose a 200-year old cottage with sea views from every window, surrounded by grapes, figs, olives and a divine vegetable garden. The only sounds came from some nearby goats and chickens – like going back to a simpler time. Utter heaven."
